WONDERFUL WAYS TO TRANSFORM YOUR HOME (with little expenditure)
1. A great way to transform your home for very little is to go to charity shops. Many of them have loads of great items.
2. Place a stylish fruit bowl as the centrepiece on your kitchen and or living room table.
3. An elegant telephone can change a room marvellously.
4. Sparkly beaded tie-backs can add glamour.
5. Walls and floors can benefit from stencilling
6. Lend your artistic talents to making your own antique picture/mirror frames. eBay has some fantastic bargains
7. To bring in natural light into an otherwise dull room add a small dome or roof light.
8. CD boxes can be transformed into storage for small bathroom essentials, here again you can put your creative talents to the test.
9. A change of cushion covers really transforms any sofa and room.
10. A well positioned mirror can make a room look deceptively bigger than it is.
11. Treat your old glasses to glass etching cream for that much needed little lift.
12. Painted candle pots helps to add colour and glamoure to a room.
13. Add ribbon/lace to cushion covers
14. Arranging the sofa diagonally will make the room look wider.
15. A rug or two helps to define specific areas in the room or hallway.
16. Make a wall the focal point by painting it in a different colour to the rest of the room. Make sure it is a complimentary shade by being the same colour as a number of objects in the room.

37. Painting over tired wall tiles to give a much needed prucing.
38. Replace shower curtains and add colourful towels to the bathroom.

44. Put a settee or a bench at the end of the bed. This piece will anchor the bed and add dimension to the room.

46. Make a feature of the fireplace by placing a large bouquet of flowers or candles in front.
47. Re-fabricing dinning room chairs will give them a much needed lift.
48. Revamp the dinning room by adding a runner along the centre of the table.
